Leanne, 18, was on her first trip abroad when she lost her life. Leanne was from Israel and begged her family to let her join friends in Instanbul for a New Year's celebration. She was ambitious and had many dreams she wanted to fulfill in her lifetime including becoming a dentist one day.

Khushi, 24, was a fashion designer who studied in the U.S. She had a boutique in Mumbai and was in Turkey on business.

Abis, 49, was a film producer and real estate entrepreneur. He was married and resided with his wife and son in Mumbai.

Kerim, 23, was from Belgium and had dual citizenship in Turkey. He was deeply cherished by friends and family and will be missed by all who had the opportunity to know him.

35-year-old Fatih was a Turkish security guard described by loved ones as calm, kind, and good at his job. Just three weeks prior to the attack that ended his life, Fatih was lucky to have narrowly escaped a double bombing at a soccer stadium in Istanbul.

26-year-old Rita, a Lebanese national, was travelling through Europe with her fiance, Elias Wardini. As students approaching graduation at the American University of Science and Technology in Lebanon, the engaged couple had much to look forward to in 2017 before their lives were tragically ended in the new years eve attack.

Elias was a 26-year-old student from Lebanon. He had been on the trip of his lifetime with his fiance, Rita Chami, as they vacationed through picturesque European cities including Barcelona and Athens. Neither he or Rita survived the attack.

Burak, only 22-years-old, was a Turkish police officer and the youngest of three children. Though he had only served for 12 months, his invaluable contributions to the police force will not be forgotten.

27-year-old Hatice was a Turkish security guard who was also the mother of a 3-year-old daughter. She was working on the night of the attack in the Reina nightclub in Istanbul when she was killed.
